Are these two bullets rather thin jacketed and do they tend to hyperfragment upon impact with bone of larger animals? Seems to me with their polymer tips and bullet weights in the 50-55 grain range traveling at 3000+ fps.. there wouldn't be much left of either. What's the thoughts on this? Don't worry, I am not planning any illegalities, just curious as to the effects and why these rounds would be particularly useful.

I have worked up some loads for both rounds in my Savage Model 110FP heavy barrel with a long action (why the hell would they do that?) and they are dead accurate rounds.

Dad and I have used 55gr Nosler Ballistic Tips in a 22-250 on deer for years. We take 1-2 deer a year and only have had 2 get away in the last 10+ years, and both were bad shots...Accurate as hell though. And they leave a pretty big hole if you hit solid bone.
