.22 Texas Steel Challenge?

I was thinking about going to shoot in one of these at Cedar Ridge Range, but I'm a new shooter and I've never been in a competition/don't know what all it entails. I have an M&P 22, but don't know what else I need, or how difficult these things are. Any insight?

you need about 5 mags.

I would recommend going and watching one first to have a better idea of how things are run.

I haven't competed but I have watched a few and looked in to entering, just never had time.

I agree with YG. Considering your experience, I wouldn't enter a meet unless they have a rookie class. Also don't be intimidated by the guys with race guns, they had to start somewhere to and wasn't with all that gear.
