    Hi All,

I luvs me some .22s, and always wanted to build a .22 rotary hand cranker. I've seen the plans but have only run across one at the fishing/gun shop/bar in Sonora. But you couldn't handle it or look at it up close. Did think the shop owner said it could be had for a couple grand 10 years ago.

Any of you guys built one or have drawings for one? PAX

The plans have to be somewhere out there. In the 70s or 80s, the plans were available for a fee. I think the plans were for a 22 short.

My Dad built this one about 15 or so yrs ago. Bought the plans (I still have um). If I put rifled barrels on it it would function. Just has some dummies he also made in it now which will cycle.

Well, my point was that one could look... and I kind of purposefully didn't give anything really obvious out. Optics and all.

    They sell drawings.

Drawings. Not computer files of any useful sort. Just drawings. In 2021.

    SMDH.

Somebody please look at that website and tell me I missed something. I really want to be wrong about this.

They even sell 3D cad images of all the parts...on a CD!

Maybe they figure selling only paper copies of the plans will reduce piracy...I can’t think of any other reason. Although the blue prints could be easily scanned and put online. And probably have been somewhere.

    Well, my point was...
...fully understood. That's why the only thing I backquoted was the website URL. I'm wondering how they stay in business. Security by obscurity is usually a guaranteed fail, after all.

The use to make a rotary devise that clamped on to the trigger guard that would turn a semi into a type of gatlin gun.

$10,000? Seems rather low in price for a true authentic Gatling gun. Saw one sell about eight or nine years ago for over $350K. and this one just sold for $222K, including the buyer's premium.
