Southwest region girls represented by Sterlington Little League (LA) had a regional tournament record of 3-0.
LLSWS started on 8/4 and the Sterlington girls currently have a 2-0 record and are playing Ohio (Central region) as I type, leading 7-0 top of the 4th.

I flipped over to the boys game for what turned out to be a reviewed call, 3rd out so back to the girls . . .

12-0, mid 4th

I'm not sure which game it was but was today, boys team. I believe it was Nevada, a team right outside
Vegas of course. Only caught a few pitches and the interview with that pitcher. I forget how many no-hitters they said he had thrown several back to back. I watched his style and had a helluva fastball and is a big strapping kid. I wish I'd caught his name and wrote it down for future reference. I think he has a bright future ahead. Any ideas whom I'm referring to ?

There's no crying in baseball. I do follow the LLWS, some of those kids make great plays. I especially like the major league players coming to Williamsport and hanging out with the kids.

I really like watching little league boys and girls baseball. They are the future stars in college and pros. They aren't demanding bunch of $$$ at this point. Is fun following them and watching their development.

I watched Florida beat Nevada today to send them home. Florida hit those homers in 5th inning to seal it, they're a good team on offense and defense.
