I have never hunted any animal. I have a rifle set up to kill hogs, but still missing the night scope which I hope to acquire this year. I've never shot or hunted a deer. My girlfriend does a lot of cooking and I think I'd need to set up a freezer, but I am definitely interested in learning before doing. So if someone is on a hunt and wouldn't mind a tag along to watch and learn I'd be obliged to observe.

If you get the opportunity to observe, take your rifle and shoot a smaller feral pig if allowable. You'll get to observe whoever invited you as well as get your own hands dirty in the process, hands on lessons are the best way to learn imho.

Hunting shows such as “Meateater”, on Netflix, can be helpful in the mean time. Steve rinella is a good role model for hunting imo

Took a break from deer hunting and did a spot and stalk on dove this morning. Found a couple sheds along the way. Nothing better than fresh dove and eggs for breakfast!

Unfortunately this 2020 deer season has come to an end and I was not able to fill a tag on the last weekend. However this guy got caught poking his head out of the grass heading back to camp and I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity. Hope everyone had an amazing 2020 season. Looking forward to what’s to come in 2021
