Houseful of guests, won't make it today...

We decided today that we will be switching this yo a bi-weekly lunch meeting.
Our next lunch will be Two Peaks in RR on Friday the 13th.
Is that twice a week or every other week? Seems to have both meanings.
I voted for semi-monthly; but was overruled
As there is certainly a difference between Semi-monthly and biweekly, biweekly has certainly two meanings.
So we will meet every other week. Next meeting will be on Friday December 13th at Twin Peaks, thereafter every other week, so the next would be Friday December 27th.
Semi-monthly would be way to complicated as you months with 4 or 5 Fridays :-)
Fortnightly would have been appropriate...or Fortnitely
Agreed "Fortnightly" is a common term in Europe, but I haven't seen it very often in the States. Which proves again, we are a highly educated group! (seriously - for every newcomer who wants to join!)
