I have a friend looking to get rid of a 9MM Colt 1911 made in 1970. Anyone have an estimate for the value? I know a lot of you are far more educated on these more refined weapons than I am. Thanks in advance.

Going out of state with an SBR? You have to notify the ATF.

    NFA Interstate Movement Rules
Most NFA Firearms are NOT allowed to be moved across state lines without approval from the ATF beforehand. Silencers and Any Other Weapons (AOWs) are exempt from this, but all other NFA Firearms (SBRs, SBSs, Machine Guns, and Destructive) must not cross state lines without approval.

Bear in mind, some states do not allow NFA items.
