Saw a big pack of hogs in the neighbors field when I was getting back from dinner. Grabbed the first rifle I could get to and it was my sig 716. I set up the abandoned road that borders the field which is covered in high grass. I got to a clearing and crawled up through some weeds. Losing light fast I settled my sights on the closest one and let her rip. She dropped on the spot and was dead in seconds

168gr Amax over 42grs of H4895. Absolutely impressed with the Amax. Brutal exit wound. That Burris has an illuminated reticle and holy hell what a difference in those last minutes of light. Im a true believer in them now

    30 cal is gods caliber but 30-06 > 308.

That pig would have dropped faster if hit by a garand. A garand can kill a werewolf. Or anything really.
