    Helotes!
It's typical during rally races to have spectators lining the road like that, sometimes they actually stand in front of oncoming vehicles to take pictures and jump out of the way at the very last minute! :ohnoes:

But 910 HP out of a 3.1L twin-turbo V6, that's impressive. A Bugatti Veyron requires a 8L W16 with four turbos to make 90 more horsepower (1001 HP) in the standard model (the SuperSport makes 1200 HP). Add to that the lightness of the SX4 and I'm sure his eyeballs are bouncing off the back of his skull during hard acceleration!

As for the driving, it's a skill level unachievable by us mere mortals!

    Cheers! M2

That was incredible! Amazing even though he did flub a few turns, but still incredible. My Dad used to drive tourist buses up to Pike's Peak in the late 1940s and tells stories about it. I'll have to load this onto my laptop and show him next time I see him...cool.

New records at Pikes Peak are meaningless. The track is mostly paved now and will soon be all paved. The old records will never be beaten. No comparison between all dirt and all pavement.

Even so, this is a very impressive run!

Exactly. You can't compare the new times to the old ones.
