The IFS will be better for everything other than serious rock crawling. You'll have to swap stuff out for that anyways.

It's available on all trims. https://www.ford.com/cmslibs/conten...crossovers/bronco/pdf/21_Bronco_lineup_HR.pdf

I understand all of this. The point is, if were it to come with a factory solid axle option, an upgraded axle swap is a bolt on procedure at that point. You wouldn't necessarily swap all of that stuff.....it's not the same at all. I think there's some confusion about upgrading your coilovers and UCA's versus doing a solid axle swap.

An IFS to solid axle swap is expensive as hell if there isn't a kit available. Try 8-10k in parts and additional 10k in installation unless you do it yourself.

My FJ can tackle level 7 trails and that's about the most with IFS Kings and Land Cruiser extended travel suspension and lower links, and heavy duty extended Metaltech springs in the rear.

Really what I see is an FJ Cruiser, that has a removable top and can tow 1,500lbs less than I can.

I was just hoping for once, a Wrangler competitor that would have a solid axle option from the factory so you don't have to give a kidney to upgrade. There's a reason that Jeep owns this category and it's not hard to guess why, it and the G lass Mercedes are the only ones that offer a factory off-road dedicated vehicle.

The annoying part, is outside of that it's damn near perfect.....I'm torn.

How many years do most people wait before taking their $50k+ vehicles onto level 7 trails?

Just curious, I've never done anything like that.
I did it as soon as I built up my truck....2 years later. Whether it were a 50k Cruiser or a 50k Wrangler, people do it.

But yeah, people usually wait for some character from regular driving before they just hit aggressive trails.
