I read a lot of unique ways to decompress but the time to decompress is the day after Trump wins and wins both the House and Senate. Decompress too much and you will miss voting and this time it is really important to get out and vote unless you are a democrap and even their candidate is totally decompressed and unaware.

    Fishing

    walking (mostly late)

organizing my ammo & gun stuff

Everybody needs to take a break from the political news occasionally and catch their breath.

what do you do to relax and clear your mind of all that nonsense?
Have something real to do. Build something; fix something.

I think raising at least a little bit of your own food is vital to mental and physical health, so start a garden or get some livestock.

For just pure recreation I like to drive and shoot.

I agree. Building or fixing something is a great way to relax and force your mind to concentrate on the project or task you are working.

I don’t see how wearing a mask would work if you are downing a beer constantly. Or eating. Sigh.
From what I've seen of gatherings in general, people will start off wearing masks, less people will continue to wear them as the day goes by, and by the end of the day no one will be wearing them.
