I do believe if I was a NYC cop I would be looking for different employment.

You may have seen the article in the news, but NYC cops are retiring in such numbers that the retirement office is booked up until September. Hundreds upon hundreds of cops are saying aloha to the Big Apple.

Democratic governance again betraying the people, but the people are too stupid to get rid of the Democrats, so they'll get what they deserve.

The worst part is, these are the same idiots that will wonder where the Cops are when they need help......and scream the loudest when they are not there.

I get why those guys put a badge on in the first place. I really do. And the oath they take. The risk, obligations and responsibility they assume.
But it is getting harder and harder for me to find fault with anyone in LE in some of those cities that decides to turn in their badge and let the city governments have what they seem to want.
At the same time, I do understand why they don't.

A relative sent me this a few min ago. I can understand people being against militarization of the police, no knock warrants and a few other things. Attacking cops, harassing their families and disrespecting the dead is another. When this whole thing started most people were on their side to a degree with cop killing people. That will change quickly if it hasnt already.

I happen to agree with the sentiments that NYC is on an unstoppable long term societal downward trajectory. And unless a cop is within, say, two or three years (at most) of a full retirement, they ought to seriously be looking for employment elsewhere.

As Trump has point out, the problem is that Democrats don’t know how to govern. The decay of big Democrat-controlled cities is tangible proof of this. And their voters are responsible.

(Personally, I remain unconvinced we’ve got the correct voter qualification criterion in place to insure continued survival of the republic).
