Need some info from those here that may be familiar with Thompson Center Contender rifles and pistols. I’m looking for a .45 ACP rifle length barrel (I’m assuming it will have to be an aftermarket item as I can’t find anything on the TC Arms website). I find nothing on Google regarding a barrel in that caliber for a rifle or a pistol. Surely there are some folks have experience with the Contender and can point me in the right direction. Thanks for any information.

With the TC Custom shop down until next year with their move, you will have to rely on after market folks for it.

Check out these guys. They may have to build it for you, and may cost a few dollars more than a regular one.

I saw this article a while back and quickly checked my T/C Venture serial #.....mine was not included. Since I never know when I can break lose to hunt hogs I don't want my best rifle in the mail somewhere.
I really love my T/C venture 30-06 wih a Nikon Monarch 2.5X10 -50mm scope. Very accurate! That Nikon Monarch will make any (well, almost any) rifle shoot good. This rig can even make a good shooter shoot better!

Many of his designs not recommended for use by Bellm, tho.
I heed the word when it comes to pressures.
Never fired that 257 GNR barrel, I'm sad to say
But peace of mind comes to the careful man
