Well damn, u just kinda pissed in my cheerios lol. What's r endo mags tho & y dedicated clock lower?

Im running a few Mean Arms ENDO mags. That way i dont have to have a dedicated lower or use an adapter. If i want to make it another caliber its not an issue.
No problems with them so far... with about a 3-400 rounds in each mag so far.

Good points on the noise and flash/blast. 300 BLK is the lesser of those evils. Honestly I think whatever HD gun being used is best suppressed and if not, a really good flash hider instead of a brake is called for.

Where are you finding 9mm for 16cpr right now?

ETA: I absolutely loathe the idea of a binary trigger in a HD gun. Adrenaline is going to be high and it takes a while different level of discipline to not release that trigger once it’s pulled in anger inside a dark room.

I bought my ammo way long ago before covid, in bulk. .22, 9mm, .45acp, 5.56 NATO, 7.62 NATO, 7.62x39 mostly.

My binary trigger has three positions. Safe, Semi and binary. Don't put it on binary if you don't think you have the ability to control and safe the weapon. I was able to always control my full auto M16 in my old Army days with no issues. Besides I use a pistol as a first choice for defense and carry unless I know a rifle may be needed. Then I have 3 safes full of various weapons and a huge amount of ammo.

I don't know what 300 BLK goes for normally but it is now just below or just above $1 a round. Much rather shoot 9mm or 45acp. 9mm has been so cheap when I was buying it it was cheaper to buy then reload. I reload everything else.

Counting the value of the parts, iirc tbis was about $600, though my cost was less due to some trading

12.7 inch barrel. You could stay within the same budget while making it more modern. Get a flat top upper and magpul rear BUIS, get a cheaper brace like a kak blade and you should have enough to get an inexpensive red dot or weapon light

Gotcha. Same here on all accounts, except I’ve never had a binary trigger in one of my firearms, just used other peoples at the range.

I’m reloading 9mm for the first time in nearly a decade right now.

I like rifle/pistol matches that share mags and/or ammo. AR9 and Glock 19 use the same mags. AR15 pistol and various AR15 rifles/carbines, bolt action Ruger rifle share mags. Henry lever 44 mag and Ruger Alaskan Super Redhawk in .44 mag. Ruger Vaquero in .45 LC and Marlin lever in .45 LC. Ruger GP100 in .357 mag and a Rossi lever .357 mag. Various .22 pistols and rifles. Old Remington 870 12 gauge police riot gun, old Remington 870 12 gauge Wingmaster pump and a Tristar Products Setter S/T Over/Under 12 Gauge Shotgun.

Home defense is grab the Glock 19 and/or the AR9 and sling it. Both are silenced. There if you need it. Plenty of mags and ammo. Most of my pistols are silencer capable. The blast from an AR15 pistol in a small enclosed space would be absolutely deafening I would imagine! I fired a .45LC off in my living room one time and wouldn't ever want to do that again except in an emergency.

The cost of ammo has to be considered when making these choices. You won't shoot and practice much at $1 a round as you would at .16 a round. If it didn't matter I would have a Barrett .50 cal!

Yep. It's that easy. Just need a FFL to send the lower to and the rest goes to home. You will need to know how to assemble the pieces, but that is not difficult (if you have the tools and a vise)
Seriously? Pretty damn cheap too compared to all the other shit i was lookin at. Pretty confident i can put anything together (Google &/or YouTube ) as long as i don't hafta machine r weld anything lol. No vise tho

Depending on FFL you ship it to, they could probably (for a nominal fee) build it while you do 4473.
I'd rather do it myself tho, gotta start somewhere & what betr way to learn than the threat of potentially killin urself if u don't do it right?

It can be. Depends on what you want. I wanted a dedicated 9mm Glock magazine compatible lower so I could share my Glock mags I already have, and the pistols to match. I also wanted a shorter barrel with 1/2x28 threads for my current silencer. Required a barrel change for that. Fostech binary trigger required a different bolt carrier group, so had to upgrade that as well. Slippery slope to upgrade things!
