Some years ago, not long after I divorced my second wife, and about the time I met my present wife, but some months before we started dating, in Friday nights, I'd ride my Harley to the club. Dressed like I was going to Hell's Angels convention. Many times on Friday nights they didn't have a live band so they had a guy that would DJ. He was a pretty cool guy and would play some badass rock and roll music.

But on Saturday night, I'd get out the starched Wranglers, my Ropers, pressed western shirt, and my cowboy hat. Back then I dressed a lot like George Strait! The wife said I was Mr rock & roll Friday night, and C&W Saturday night!

Most Saturday nights they would have a live band. One of the things the wife and I had in common was dancing. I even taught her how to waltz. She loved to waltz too.

Since she was dating someone else at the time, and on New Years Eve, I knew I had to walk away from her. But one of our friends took a picture of us dancing to this Toby Keith song.

So I didn't o to that club for some months and then went with a friend of mine on a Saturday night. Funny thing it was her birthday, and she had broke up with the other guy a couple of months earlier. We had a great time that night, and then i asked her to go to lunch with me the next day. We rode my Harley to Tyler and had lunch and had a great day. We have been together ever since. That year, it seemed there were just some great songs that made me think of her. They have gave me some fond memories that I can relive anytime I hear them on the radio. Awesome woman, and the love of my life.
