Massive governmental over reach - this isn't the same as bringing a gun to school - the kids literally in his own bedroom in his own home. He can't shoot anyone through the monitor. The police should have told the school to FOAD. The teacher and principle violated the rights of the child and parents. Government officials in ALL agencies need to be held accountable, not just the cops.

I considered it an invasion of the kid's privacy and his family's privacy. I hope they file a lawsuit against the school and the teacher personally.

Absolutely. And, were I that kid's mom, I would be looking VERY CLOSELY at the teacher's video feed from now on. Let's see what teach is sporting in the living room...

I tend to be a very vindictive SOB when I have been wronged! I would be digging for any dirt I could find on the teacher. I'd ruin her name in the community!

I would request a meeting with the teacher and inform them of the civil suit I was filing on them, the school, the school board and the city...............better yet, have the bastards served during virtual class............

I guess the thought of contacting the parent directly is just a stupid idea. If their was any concern for the students safety that would have been the 1st and most appropriate action? Naw, let’s contact the police and send them to investigate.

Sorry fellow TGT members. All hope is lost for humans on this planet. Common sense is dead.

I think we are either headed down the tubes or headed for secession.

Who would secede? I'd like to think Texas, but Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and El Paso all have pretty huge liberal populations who I don't think would vote to secede, and if the vote passed anyway I think those libs would be...difficult, at best.

I think the bigger issue is that there is little to no geographical separation between the nitwit left loonies and the rest of us: While they may mostly be in the cities, all of our states- mostly- have some of those cities, and that would make separating into two or more countries very difficult.

So far, we still have the libs outnumbered based on voting results.

I think you would see states like OK, KS, IA, MT, WY and most of the south join in.
