Curious.......I bought the CMR and haven't even fired it yet. It is a cool little carbine. Bought it with the idea of getting the PMR too......both through Kel-Tec's veteran discount program.

    Do you like it?
    Issues?
Can speak to both CMR and PMR if you have them......

    1.) Yes I like them.
2.) The PMR is known to have an issue with out of battery detonations. My has done this once. It has something to do with the feed ramp.
The semi fixed sights are the suck.
Load the mags to 25rds for more reliable cycling.
Use the recommended 40grn ammo in the PMR. The lighter weight ammo doesn’t work as well.
3.) Only beef I have with the CMR is take-down and re-assembly. It takes three hands to get it back together.
    Accuracy is meh.
Cleaning the CMR is tedious because you can’t open it up. Lots of nook and cranny to get at.
Don’t store mags loaded long term.
CMR needs better sling attach points.
The current USGI holster for the Beretta92 will hold your PMR perfectly.

Never ask me if you should buy a gun.
    The answer is always YES.
It’s really slick to have two firearms that utilize the same mags and ammo.
The CMR makes a darn nice little self-defense carbine. Think of it as a 5.7mm Lite.
The pistol is LOUD. Muzzle flash is impressive. Recoil is nothing.
You’ll want a red-dot optic on the CMR.
I’ve got a set of fold-down MagPul irons on mine but they suck. Strictly for back-up.
Pistol accuracy is meh. Minute of beer can at 60ft. You won’t be winning any trophies with it. It’s fine for hunting.

OK....thanks.....kind of what I thought. Not expecting MOA to be great.....just acceptable at about 100 yds.........about like the Israeli counter insurgency group trying to shoot Palestenians in the about knee and ass.........

If you own a CMR, it is just silly not to own a PMR... common magazines, ammo, and funny looks from onlookers.

I waited until the crazy pricing stopped. If you can buy them right, then it is a great choice.

Moonpie, is that a Pelican case?

Had a PMR. Sold it and don’t regret it at all. Mediocre accuracy at distances as close as 10 yards, fully loaded mags had reliability issues and very picky on ammo.

Hope the person that bought it is enjoying it more than I did.

I have both. My PMR has about 600 rounds through it so far without cleaning.

I recently picked up the CMR but have only shot 1 Mag through it.
