    The Python involved was a Reticulated Python. Here is what the teeth look like.

    As you can see, the teeth are designed to not let go unless the snake is swallowing.

    Now the good and the bad; the teeth break off fairly easy, which may help in getting the snake loose, both snakes that is.
    The bad, digging out the teeth. Either way it’s going to hurt and as you saw, very bloody.

    Mrs Whistler saw some story about a snake in a toilet, kept waking me at night turning on the lights. Took me forever to make her understand this happens in places where they have open sewer systems snakes can infiltrate. Unless they climb up on the roof and drop down a vent there isn't really any place for a snake to enter my septic system.
