He possibly would be doing the world a favor if he did off himself. Imagine that he is somehow found not guilty at trial, which is quite possible even though many think he is as guilty as sin. The result would probably be much more catastrophic than the current riots.

EVEN IF he were found not guilty, ( and juries can be tricky.) I imagine his career in LE is essentially over with. Plus his wife filed for divorce right about the time he was arrested, which I find the timing of that interesting, and his future prospects for work doesn't look very good IMO.

That is more possible now that they decided to change his charge from murder 3 to murder 2. Now they will have to prove his intent was to kill him.

I believe the AG of Minnesota is giving into the mob without giving thought to the outcome. It may settle things down some for the moment, but the outcome could result in a worse situation.

That's assuming John Q. Public can hold interest in this case for that long. How many remember what happened to the cop who shot Philando Castile in that same state? I don't seem to recall that verdict getting front page coverage, and that was for a guy who was complying and not resisting. At least you could argue Floyd was resisting by refusing to get in the squad car.
