    That place east of Waco....
Looks interesting... especially as an alternative to .243Win. But I really want to see testing in ballistic gel and meat targets before I have an opinion. Also, introducing a new cartridge during an ammo shortage rarely goes well (.45GAP, .327FED, etc.)

Why are ya'll so determined for me to get an AR?....

Just had to say, I’m huge 327 Fed fan as well. I own multiple guns and way too much ammo for it.
    It is severely under appreciated.

The 45 GAP was just a stupid idea, but the .327 Fed has a small cult following and is still a thing.

I like to see independent testing against the other 6mm cartridges and see ballistics comparisons.

I'm all for new cartridges, but I want to see how it stacks up against other cartridges and what does it offer that we don't have already.

    I would too.

AR calibers are a tough market now. There are so many of them and the market is so saturated that most will fail. I will be interested to see how this does and how it actually stacks up against other AR long range rounds, not just 6mm ones. I doubt this will do much against the 6.5 Grendel, but it might cause the 224 Valkyrie to lose traction and possibly even cause it to be dropped altogether.

    I hope not.
For those like me that have bad joints, the .224 Valkyrie is a great round. It will reach out well past a .223/5.56 and not beat my shoulder up. Plus I can use mostly the same reloading components, other than brass, for both.
The only other round I have shot that doesn't hurt that will let me shoot over 100 a day is 6.5 Grendel. And only suppressed. I don't have a suppressor. It was a friends.

what does it offer that we don't have already.

a Cartridge that can launch projectiles ranging from 55 grain to 108 grain, up to 3500 FPS, from an AR 15 platform with only a bolt, barrel, and magchange (or just a barrel if you have a 6.5G) with multiple factory ammunition choices.
Is there another one I’m not aware of?
