Sure they can arrest them and then when they get let out on bail or own rec because of lack of evidence do you think that is going to make the situation better ?

The cops involved are not a threat now that the badge has been removed from them

    Let justice do its thing
Well, don’t people tend to get arrested and then arraigned and either stay or bail/ bond out as appropriate and then the trial comes later once everything is ready and assigned to a court for trial?

I am sure at some point not sure if 3rd degree is a no bail situation. But if they get the evidence they need to move it to 2nd degree I would think that has a good shot of being no bail and if they can add a modifier like the race card that ups the game.

I think I saw they had him at 500K bail.

I still say leave him on the street so he can eat a bullet and not cost us the expense of a trial and paying to feed and house him for 50 years.

Although as a white ex cop who had a black dude die in his care. I doubt he makes it very long behind bars.

Did you note I said nothing about MSM being shut down????? And they're the one that got it to the place we are now. I would agree with bullets and body bags but it seems we have a few closet liberals on here and I was offering he most peaceful end I could think of.

i did note that in fact. how often do you think MSM gives you real honest to god ground truth? how much easier is it to control propaganda content on three or four networks vs anyone with an internet connection and a cell phone? In fact the reason the US gov't (namely darpa and naval research laboratory) funded the TOR project was (in addition to protecting US intelligence traffic) to protect whistle blowers in other countries from under oppressive regimes.

As far as peaceful resolution i can only hope and pray (as i do) for such a thing. the closest hope i see to that is this flare up following the now familiar two week outrage cycle we see in the media, and society at large these days.

As far as closet liberals i guess that cant be helped. i hope i didn't offend anyone's delicate sensibilities but innocent Americans are being harmed just trying to protect hearth and home, and it just doesn't seem necessary. when the police back down on their own curfew orders, and allow looting and vandalism to continue and further destroy small businesses and public services that simply encourages the same behavior and reinforces it with rewards. That cycle has to break.

the sooner it ends the more good people are saved. Our country is in enough trouble as it is. Of course a peaceful resolution would be best, but to my untrained eye it would seem prudent to look for the swiftest solution. and again I'm no expert I'm just a guy with a keyboard and a family, but it would seem one of the fastest ways would be issuing some magazines to those ~5000 guardsman and begin clearing out the problem. Take who you can into custody, sure I don't mean to suggest TOTAL WAR against an entire urban population, but respond to the violence with violence, as soldiers are trained to do.

Its the national guard, not the federal fire department.

Good Lord I kind of typed a lot there, but I wanted to somewhat clarify my position.
Incidentally I hope i didn't come off as hsitting on your post or being a general turd, I haven't been back here but maybe 30 hours or so, (i've been gone since before we got like buttons i think) and so far I have enjoyed reading your posts, you seem like a thoughtful guy, and I look forward to reading more from you.

Just like that, another trump tweet turns out true.

    When looting starts shooting starts.

In other news, roaving gangs are targeting lone protesters and attacking them. More proof these people care not for Mr Floyd. A sniper needs to remind them that blows to the head, especially while the victim is down, is deadly force justification for a 160 grain response to the attackers head.

    Just saying.

They interviewed a rioter last night who thought George Foreman was the victim
I was in Oakland (work) during the riots in 1992. Thankfully none stormed the Hotel I was at. Anyway, on the news they were showing a lot of people holding signs stating "Free Rodney King". Rodney King hadn't been in jail for about a year before the trial of the police officers.

Some outlets are reporting Huntington Beach, CA as one of the first places with significant anti-protester presence.

And former MMA champ Chuck Liddell was there, holding the line.

It’s a red city for sure.

And friends are telling me they’re are forming anti-looter/anti-vandal squads to protect their neighborhoods.
