None of us has bought something only to discover.....

    We already had one.....

    Nope....never..........

I built a AR pistol a couple years ago. Loaded up some 110g 300 Blackout rounds to try out with it. Bought a Blade brace, but it would not go on the foam padded buffer tube. So it sat in my safe since then, unfired. Then last year some time I bought a Sig Brace, and its sat on my bench for months.

Last night I decided I would order a new buffer tube for it so I could use the Sig brace. Had three websites pulled up, and just for kicks I decided to open the Sig box. Much to my surprise there was a buffer tube inside that box. I closed the webpages and had a good laugh at myself. I could have shot that pistol months ago it I had just opened that stupid box. But at least I didn't buy a new one just to discover I didn't need it.

After much debate I burned my birthday discount at Brownells on an AR-10 JP Enterprises silent capture spring. I guess it’s shipping from Australia because they said it would be here on June 4.

Either that or the slow boat from China....
Midway did the same thing to me last week. Ordered an adjustable gas block in the attempt to tune a suppressed AR-10 It was in stock in Columbia Mo. Took 6 business days to get here. I could have rode my bike faster than that. Clearly they have an agreement with the shipping companies to get incredibly cheap rates but it takes at least twice as long as snail mail. I would have paid for shipping if I knew that it would take that long.

Won an auction for Romeo Sig1, to go along with the IWI Masada I'm supposed to get this weekend.

Really excited to check out this combo, got my fingers crossed (have not shot the masada yet)

I didn’t buy anything today, but did spend a quality afternoon with like minded friends barreling and head spacing some FAL kits. 2 Rhodesians, and a Libyan variant ready to return to service.

Seems like everything is done and sourced here in the USA. I don’t think they mass produce. Mine has been on backorder for awhile. But Shipping is super fast when it became available. And also, there is no middleman/distributor. I’m satisfied and will continue to buy from them if they keep it up.

Ordered up some bits for my Ruger precision in 6mm creedmoor.

Picked up a new bolt handle and bolt knob along with a upgraded fluted bolt shroud and billet cocking piece. 50% functional improvement 75% cosmetic.

I also ordered a rear bag from coletac. I was shooting out to 500 last weekend and noticed some issues working elevation when sweeping around the range. It will be my first rear bag, hopefully I don't have to buy too many more before I find the right one. I read reviews and looked at pictures for a couple days. I determined it is like the drawer of holsters. After buying all the ones that don't work you finally find one that does.
