Another question. Lots of people are using bleach to sanitize against the virus.

Is hydrogen peroxide effective against it?

The wife picked up two spray bottles of HP the other day, for that purpose.

She asked me, and I don't have a clue.

A question to consider: Does anyone know where the major retailers are getting all of these crazy ideas on how to manage customer access, distancing, purchases? Other than the generic concept of social distancing, there is no guidance on how to manage a retail environment and yet each major retailer is breaking their neck to be first with the next wave of restrictions which are quickly picked up by others in the race to not be left behind.

My thought is that it is the Risk Management departments in the corporate headquarters who are hiring consultants to give them ideas for making the corporation look good so they can promote the concept that they are protecting people's health. I have told the managers at Brookshires, Target and Walmart that I can take care of myself and I know a lot more about how to protect myself from this virus than they or their corporate weinees ever will. The look on their face tells me they are not used to encountering someone who does not bow their head and move to the end of the single file line at a six foot distance from their neighbor.

I went to Home Dept yesterday to get some fence building material. The lumber end was closed. Had to go all the way to the regular entrance, go to the lumber end, go out through the regular checkout with a loaded down cart full of lumber. In long line with others, some of whom had to unload to check out and get through the smaller checkout lanes. I asked them if this was a lumber yard or a Walmart. They never answered. Just about on of the stupidest things I have ever seen. I think you are correct. Some dumb butt in corporate trying to make them look "correct" and has zero knowledge of the customer needs.

Hydrogen peroxide is GTG based on this article. They do recommend letting it sit for a minute.

Pretty good article on household cleaners that work...and don’t work.

First Vermont, now Ventura County (CA).

Two socialist states...who woulda thunk it?

I can’t imagine this would go over so well in TX.

But we seem to be doing a better job of controlling the spread compared to other large states.
