This must be a common occurrence amongst people just signing up to use the classifieds huh.

Yes. Supposed to be quality posts, though. There has been discussion on what to do about it. Went nowhere, best I remember.

Haha these are great. No low end ARs in my house. Hence not liking PSA

Surprised at the negativity about the classifieds and "quality posts" though. 2A advocates such as myself are very annoyed how hard its become to exercise our legal right to privately sell a firearm. Don't get why gun forums have to make it just as hard.

It’s not hard - just pay the ten dollars and be done with it.

I feel like that's worse than just posting 25 posts, even if all of them aren't "quality." Paying $10 and moving on doesn't add engagement to the forum really.

Members here have been burned by too many scammers who come in, post a sale ad as their only interaction, then rip the member off. So, the admins enacted some standards. Sorry if it's a problem, but it's how it is - they're trying to ensure that this is a community, not just a place for posting sale ads and disappearing.

Look around and you'll see that we don't just trade smartassery online. We meet up and shoot together, have meals, and support each other. So yeah, we're a little protective of each other too.

But making it to where all one has to do is pay ten bucks and bypass the interaction is a little contradictory to the thing that's trying to be accomplished. I'm sure someone wanting to scam people would rather pay $10 and get to it then take time to comment on threads. Maybe not though

There was one just in the last week who paid the $10...then outed himself as a scammer inadvertently and got banned.

    What works, works.

I would love to own a Henry some day...

So then what Henry would you like to own then? Any particular model in mind?

Me personally I’d love to get a X in .357 mag, or a color case hardened one in .41 mag.

There, now we’re talking guns again.

Several years ago I purchased a Henry 22 which was soon followed by .357, .44 and 45-70. Each has been enjoyable to shoot.
