Potato vodka in a mixture of cherry flavored seltzer and OJ. Delicious with my Jimmy Dean sausage, cheese & egg on a biscuit for lunch. Not a bad life here in my humble hermitage.

I 'll drink a Mex beer now and again but that is rare drink for me. They are not terrible but I have no great like for any of them regularly sold in the USA. So, it pisses me off when I go to Sam's Club, where I pay a membership fee to buy premium items, and over half their selection of cases of beer are swill from Mexico, one or two decent (not excellent - just decent) beers from Europe, none from Asia, a few 12 packs of so-so American beers, and several cases of American urinal brewed beer like budwiper and another brand I will not mention by name for fear of getting myself lynched.

Now if I get to Benton, AR where my son lives, I can find a much better selection but it is still lacking - if not so much for beer varieties then for booze. I do miss Costco, Total Wine and local beer distributors and once this shelter at home crap is lifted, I think a trip to Costco & Total Wine is in order even though it's like a 5 1/2 hour (or longer) drive round trip. Costco for paper towels, a few groceries, and steaks (they have better meat selection than some butcher shops I've been to) and maybe for some Pecorino Romano cheese if they have any (and no that is not from Romania and no I cannot find here in NE Texas - in fact they seem to have no clue here as to what is it) and then Total Wine for whatever nectar I desire at the time - probably Kirschwasser, Obstwasser, potato vodka and some excellent biers & ales. I have enough to last awhile but I still cannot wait until these be a hermit in your home orders are done with.

For many, many, many years I thought nothing good took place in NJ or came out of it (except the Grateful Dead & The Marshal Tucker Band at Englishtown, I think that was in '77); then I discovered this stuff. It is an inexpensive but yet fine sipping spirit.

If not for this, there'd be nothing good about the Toxic Waste Dump State since that good time in 1977.
