I was just curious to hear from anyone who has owned judge or owns one currently and likes it? Any specifics about the one you chose?

I have one that I won in a drawing. I don't shoot it, mostly because I have other stuff to shoot. However, I have shot several Judges before and liked them. Because all the weight up front on the pistol, it shoots very "soft" and is actually fun with either the 45 LC or the 410. I wouldn't want to try to carry one concealed. It's heavy and a little awkward. It's not everyone's style, but anyone I've met that has bought one enjoys it.

I do and I do. 3" barrel, shoots 2-1/2" shells. I got it to have on my hip for snakes and such while working in the pastures and to have in the canoe for moccasins while fishing. For these uses it is excellent.
Taken a few quail that I rustled up in the tall grass.
Regular buck shot and the Hornady slug & ball rounds will just about put a hogs eyes out at close range (in the trap).
If you want to just pepper something to scare it off and not hurt it good for that too.
And that's about the extent of it's usefulness other than a noise making conversation piece.

Within the 6' social distancing range I image it'll blow a man out of his boots and catch his clothes on fire.

I know someone who had one. The long one that drug the ground...ya know that one?

Neighbor stole his dog, and just like the grocery shopping meme, he went and asked for the dog back, no problemo.

Id have to say they work very well.

It's a fine nightstand gun loaded with three 00 buckshot each cartridge.
Not so good at skeet. With no. 9 shot, skeet targets can be hit from stations 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8. The longer shots from 3, 4 and 5 the pattern has a huge hole in the middle. Double action on doubles is a bear.

I have had one for a while, but it pretty much sits in the safe. In my experience you could shoot 00 buck at someone 15 feet away and all three pellets might miss. I carry my 629 with shot rounds I reloaded myself for snakes. It’s light enough to be uncomfortable to shoot with 45. It’s a great idea but ultimately trying to do too many things.

MmmmHmm. You know, down the street around the corner but easy enough to walk around and find your big black Lab.

At first he claimed it was his. Dunno what made him change his mind. :loaded:

Someone that would steal a dog, IMO, is just a POS scum.

A dog thief should be shot and drug somewhere that the boys can eat the carcass.

I don't like thieves in general, but specifically dog thieves.

    Gunz are icky.
    Had a S&W Governor for a while.
    Solid gun.
If I had land to run around on it would’ve seen more use so I sold it.
    Too large for concealed carry.

I have a long barrel I wear when I’m working around the house/ranch. It has taken many many rattlers and is awesome at it.

I think it gets more use then most dispatching unwanted things and chicken killers.
