I have night sights on my Kimber and for deep concealment I have a CT laser on my LCP. LCP doesn't have squat for sights. If I want a light, I'll carry it separate.

Does anybody put a light on a knife? Just a thought.

Who uses an optical sight and or a light on their carry weapon. What are your thoughts on ease of concealment. Jury is still out for me.
As with most questions about guns, my opinion is that nothing matters more than what you're comfortable and proficient with. That said, anything you add to a carry gun adds a snag hazard. If you put a light or optic on it that's not necessarily wrong, but I highly recommend you spend a lot of time drawing, acquiring, and shooting with and without it in order to see the difference. I don't have the exact data but I would bet an amount of money that matters that most engagements involving a carry weapon happen at very close ranges where the advantage gained by an optic and/or light is not outweighed by the disadvantage of reduced draw time and snags. Again though, I think as long as you practice with whatever you carry then you'll be fine.

I have never used an optic or light on my carry gun. I have played around with them on non carry. It was something I was contemplating but, I agree with you on the ranges and feel comfortable with out the need of one.

P30sk here. Threaded barrel with a TLR-7 & night sights plus extended magazine....

But the 30sk I carry is slick. Nothing extra, just good sights and an extra mag. I do carry a flashlight just in case as well.

When I am carrying on Army National Guard duty, I carry a CZ P07 with an Olight PL Mini and concealing is no issue. My normal EDC is an M&P Shield 9mm with a TLR-6 on it and again, no issue concealing.

I prefer to only use iron sights on all my pistols so I have no desire to attach anything. In fact I would prefer not having a picatinny rail on a pistol as I feel a pistol looks a lot better without the rail built into the frame.
