When I make collard greens I use a A LOT of smoked sausage and pepper bacon. My black mouth curr and weagle (weinner/beagle) love the leftovers once they start so sour. And yes, they are outside dogs!

I hope so! Those farts could be deadly!
The breath is worse. After one such indulgence, Titan the weagle snuck up on me while I was changing oil on the truck and licked me right across the face, chin to forehead, to say thank you. My head must have bounced between the frame and the concrete a dozen times before I could get back.

    Chicken spaghetti
    Sausage and ham frittata
    Cornbread goes with anything

Still have some black drum in the freezer and that requires a key lime pie.

That fritter lookalike the fat load I was wanting yesterday morning. I have been taking the tramadol for my back & wanted something to loosen me up! Figured a Pappa's Bar B Que breakfast burrito & tamales would work but they were not serving breakfast.

Got bored and made about 10-12 dozen cookies. Mostly chocolate chip, but threw in a few dozen oatmeal...half with white chocolate chips, the other half with regular chocolate chips. Makes for a great snack, especially with a big bowl of ice cream.
    "special" ingrediant????????

Tried the online shopping service with HEB for the first time. Sent my list in on Friday for pick up on Monday (yesterday).
Ordered a roast, they stated average weight was 2.75#, got home and the one they selected for me was 4.75#.
That's going in the cooker today.

On a side note, I went to place another order Monday night, the next available pickup time was next Monday.

I tried the online service with our HEB yesterday. No dice. No pick-up or delivery dates available. Please try later.

Do you have any clue who they get to pull those orders? While I was still working 99% of that crew was the biggest pain in my ass every morning. You would have better luck hiring my wife & I bitch her out every trip to the store for weekly vittles!
