    Yesterday, wife brought home a pound of brisket and a pound of smoked sliced turkey from the the drive-thru at The Pit. I had brisket on a bun, she had a turkey sandwich. We have left overs for tonight.

    After watching Seal Team I had an overwhelming desire to cook a tri-tip on the grill. I did not know that tri-tip was even a cut of meat.
    Turns out that Costco had Tri-tip so I picked some up and got into a cooking contest with my wife. She marinated and baked hers, I did the right thing and applied a dry rub and grilled it.

    Tri tip is the cap off of a top sirloin steak. It's a commiepornia thang really.
