Looks like a bear in your back yard....

Kind of looks like it there. lol

Pit bull head, lab-like body, she is a tank. We got her off the side of the road. Sweet dog, but she loves her new friend. They are non-stop when the pup isn't sleeping.

I grew up having labs, beagles, and Jack russels. I havent had a dog in 10 years. My 2 kids have been asking for one. Now that I work from home, I may have to find a family dog. I just didnt want to get one and leave it alone all day. I wanted to make sure we had the time to take care of it.

    ZX9RCAM,

Depends on the breed & upon the individual canine, as well.

I have a friend who adopted a pair of "off the track" greyhounds & after watching their "baby cam", Rob found that the hounds mostly were "sacked out" for the vast majority of the time that he, Linda Jo & their 3 kids are at work/school.
(Greyhounds often "become 2-dimenisional, stationary objects", once they have time to "chill out" from their previous racing routine.)

MOST GH are "perfectly happy with" a 2-3X a day walk outside & a once or twice a week long run.

    yours, satx

Sad to say, but I'm going to have put our bassett hound Daisy down. We got her right after she was weaned, and she has been part of our family for over sixteen years.
That sucks. Been there. Ain't never easy. Hope you both enjoy what time you have left.
My condolences. To both of you.

Had to put down the wife's pomeranian who was also 16 yo. Put him down a few months before we got the tank in the other pic. Tank was a pup when we got her.

I can empathize with how you must feel. It's not an easy thing to do, have done it four times over the years; does not get any easier, in fact it seemingly gets tougher.

More for my son and wife. My boy named him Marshall after a character in paw patrol. His mom is a German Shepherd and dad’s a husky. The wife kept bugging me to get another dog. Took me a while to even think of getting another dog after the loss of my best friend of 12 years who set a very high standard.

We have four cats and three dogs. It would be impossible to get them all together for a picture, lol. The cats are two tuxedos (Sam and Linda), one orange tabby (Leo), and one tabby (Cat). The dogs are a brindle pit bull (Dog), papillon (Bambi), and shepherd/ retriever mix (Panzer).

My weagle Titan. 4 years ago some ass hat tossed him out of the window of his truck into the ditch in front of my house like litter. He's nutty as a fruitcake but the most loyal and fearless little dude I've even known. He has a dog house yet chooses to sleep on the door mat on the front porch. My neighbor across the street has a Newfoundland that he gets into heated disputes with on a regular basis. Gets his ass kicked and 20min later wants more. This is him the day he was "delivered".
