How can I be filled with such love & joy, too?

Not a singular post question; you have a history of negativity.

Massachusetts Institute of Tech article. Accessible to the masses and disconcerting:
    https://www.technologyreview.com/s/615370/coronavirus-pandemic-social-distancing-18-months/

    Keepin' it brief tonight.

The concept of intermittent social distancing, off-again on-again school closures and prolonged prohibitions of large social gatherings (like weddings, sports and musical events) is becoming more pervasive in academic discussions.

18 months seems to somehow be a chosen sweet spot.

'nite all. Been a long week for most of us.

Why measure psi so accurately to detect a virus? What's the correlation?

    Hi.
    Dropping in to relax.

    Indeed.......PCR?

    Actually an interesting sidebar.

    https://www.nps.gov/yell/learn/nature/bioprospecting.htm

That above National Park Service link discusses the PCR test used to detect COVID.
The enzyme key to the function of our best COVID19 test was discovered in the metabolic processes of extremophile microorganisms in Yellowstone Park geysers over 5 decades ago.

Here is the bug who's enzyme spawned our current Polymerase Chain Reaction testing:
