Amazing! This country needs to put politics aside. COVID-19 doesn't care about your politics. I hate to wish any ill on anyone, but those that are using this time to push their own agenda over people's lives, are just pure evil and are deserving of getting this virus. I have to wonder that if Cuomo had the virus if he would then turn down using a ventilator made by Remington.

I was talking about this exact issue with my better half. (Will be jumping points, bear with me)

Talking about GM (makes cars) tooling up to make ventilators and having a high cost. I get that. I have toured a working automotive assembly line, 2 actually. These lines are dialed in and designed to make cars. Not much room to make any other product.

When you take Remington for example, they have a 1 million square foot shop. Ammo aside as that is specific. They probably have (assume) c&c machines and big ones at that that could be switched to make useful medical components with the loading of a cad file.

I just can't wrap my head around the wonky politics that have a person willing to let people die over a ideology. I am very steadfast in my beliefs but I would go shifty eye and consider all options if it means saving one life.

    Gunz are icky.
Cuomo shut down Remington as a non-essential business, but won't allow them to re-open to make badly needed medical equipment. Double slap in the face. This would be a great time for Remington to seriously consider packing up and moving to a more gun friendly state and take it's tax base with it.

Remington already has moved most of its operations out of NY.
    Big R should leave completely.

His constant whining about needing this and that is just hot air pumped up to blowback on Trump and the need, to the extent he is making it out to be isn't really there. Remington pulled his card and his silence is telling.
