I found a sample ballot for my county/district. Damn, have y’all seen the 10 Proposals? Chemical Castration is on the ballot. Maybe we should use that on convicted child molesters? I’m sorry that ones kind of odd in more than one way.

I see term limits for legislatures is on the ballot.

Prop 2 should be an easy vote for everyone here. Yes is the correct answer.

Y’all get out and vote. I plan to vote today.

    Term limit prop:
10.) Texas should limit our state legislators’ terms to 12 years.

Kind of torn on this proposition. Getting politicos entrenched seems like a poor idea but having newbs try and conduct the business of governing Texas is also a concern... not sure. Its a 50 mile round trip for me to early vote so will have to wait till tomorrow as I can't just shuck my business...

Those are for the party platform.

Here’s the one you specifically mentioned, Republican Prop 6
PARENTAL RIGHTS: Texas should ban chemical castration, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and genital mutilation surgery on all minor children for transition purposes, given that Texas children as young as three (3) are being transitioned from their biological sex to the opposite sex.

You should see the 11 propositions on the communist ballot.

Socialism, gun control, everyone gets a vote, restrain LEOs, and income tax.
I'd like to know how they plan to give people the right to be "free" from violence?

If someone hits you and you hit back, are both parties guilty? Would angry retorts be considered violent? Does everyone get a force field? Do you get a "Free From Violence" card? Sounds about like a "Gun Free Zone" where of course criminals would never bring a gun.

    I particularly like Prop #5:
    Proposition #5
    Right to Dignity & Respect

Should everyone in Texas have the right to a life of dignity and respect, free from discrimination and harassment anywhere, including businesses and public facilities, no matter how they identify, the color of their skin, whom they love, socioeconomic status, disability status, housing status, or from where they come?

WHAT THE HECK HAS OUR COUNTRY COME TO? Making the right to dignity and respect a legal right for the "who they love" and the "how they identify" crowd? Does the "who they love" comment refer to me having legally provide dignity and respect for some ol' boy who loves a sheep? What if I don't feel these individuals deserve respect? Am I now a criminal?

Just remember sheep need love too.

A right to dignity and respect? These are things one should earn, not be given. It doesn’t make sense.

Should everyone have the right to wake up to rainbows everyday, White Christmas, sweetness and light every minute of their lives, close parking spaces, free internet and phones, beans that don't cause gas, Mr. Rogers as their neighbor and a spoonful of sugar with every medicine?

I did not see the Democrat options.

I just could not make myself vote for Bernie.

Poling place was a ghost town.
