We got two of them in today.....looks and feels like a Glock. Slide rails are metal but the slide body is polymer. I like the flared mag well and the mag assist on the sides of the mag to help load cartridges is a good design....no, I haven't shot one of them...yet...will take some pics of it disassembled tomorrow.......

I picked one up yesterday and put about 300 rounds through it so far using CCI Standard Velocity and Aguila Super Extra SV.

When you initially pick it up the lack of weight will surprise you but the build quality is what you would expect from any other Glock. Its fits all of my G19 holsters. Accuracy is excellent based on what I've seen out to 10 yards. The downside is the Glock cup and ball sights. I had one failure to feed and two failures to eject so far. I'm pretty sure my thumb was riding the slide resulting in the ejection issues. Once I was more careful with my thumb position I didn't have any further malfunctions. Break in would probably be better with HV ammo. All in all I really like it, Glock has a winner with this one.

So far as near as I can tell, all those reports of a Glock 44 ka-pop are the same gun. Just the one. It'll be interesting to see what comes of this.

Handled one. Lightness is striking. Light inertial blowback slide appropriate for the round.

Seems a waste to spend that amount and toss the disconsolate unthreaded barrel in a drawer forever!

I'm thinking they will have a factory threaded barrel version soon maybe for an extra $50 or $70.
