    DyeF9,

My post was not directed in your direction....but at the so werry, werry, sensitive.

However, this thread has inspired me to take my smallish, chunky, travel alarm 3" X 2", (I'm guessing) attach some velcro straps to it and voila' I got me a big ole watch.

    Coo-wuhl!

Picked up this wristwatch from Chinatown in San Francisco a couple years back. The Chinese text is praising Chairman Mao, and the hand with the red book waves back and forth as the seconds go by.

Didn’t work when I bought it, but I took it apart and reconnected a spring that somehow got disconnected and its up and running so long as I remember to wind it up every day.

I'm not really a watch guy. All of my buddies have at least one Rolex. When I see the price of a Rolex, I think of the $200-$300 guns I could buy. Hahaha

But, peer pressure did finally get to me and I bought a $65 Invicta.

    "Inspired" by the GMT Master:

Except it doesn't cost tens of thousands of moneys.

    One of my faves...

Omega puts their AR (anti-reflective) coatings on both sides of the glass.

So at certain angles, the crystal is practically invisible.

Hard to capture with a camera but I think this pic does a pretty good job of it.

    And yes...it’s a big ‘un
