The past couple of months I have been giving some of my wife's stuff to various kids/people as the urge struck me. A couple of my daughters wear the same size shoe as my wife did. So I gave them some shoes and boots, several of which had never been worn before. Between heels, sneakers and boots, there must be around 200 pairs.

My youngest scored some really nice cowboy boots and a brand new, only worn once pair of SHE hunting boots. Dos got a nice Columbia coat that was my wife's favorite.

The oldest had the good/bad fortune of getting my size (I'm not exactly "petite") so my wife's stuff doesn't work for her. So I decided I would give her my wife's AR. I built it for her several years ago, but she never got around to shooting it. I told her last night and she is pretty pumped. It will be her first gun that is all hers.

Planning to hand it off this weekend.

I certainly can relate to your lose. Not to say that losing my fiance of 7 1/2 years is the same as losing a wife, but that it was very hard on me and nearly destroyed me. I gave away almost everything of hers, because my most prized possession of hers is in my memories. Very nice looking AR, I hope your daughter appreciates it and gets to know it better.

7years is a long time. You know just how I’ve felt. I’ve never been very emotional. But this has changed me, as I’m sure it changed you.
