    Dicks (Academy)
    Levis (Wrangler, Carhart)
    Gillette (Shick)
Nike (Under Armor, Champion, Russell, Columbia, etc).
Any place that is 30.06. (anywhere that is not 30.06)

Used to shop all them regularly, now all replaced, and I am glad, as some of the the places I replaced them with I did not use, and found out I like them.

Agree on the 30.06, I found other places.

Haven't bought Nike in some time and will not.

That looks like something I would buy for the right price just to be really different.

At various times, folks have called for boycotts on businesses for their anti-2A, anti-Christian, etc. stances.

Just curious if any of us have followed through.

I did quit buying Gillette products. Not a great sacrifice, admittedly.

Don't patronize Dick's Sporting Goods. Again, not really a sacrifice as I almost never visited their store anyhow.

Will probably give up my lifelong use of Levi's jeans and switch to Wrangler if Wrangler makes a decent boot jean. Don't buy jeans all that often, though.

Walmart? Kind of hard to avoid in the area where I spend a good deal of time.

Cannot remember some of the other businesses that folks called to boycott

Never been to Dicks, never will be to one. I try to avoid Gillette, and I don't buy Levi's, but I am pretty much stuck with Walmart. The bad thing about small towns is that your options are kind of limited. I won't buy from Benchmade. I might buy a used one though. I try to avoid Nike.

I will not even give Cheaper Than Dirt the page views after their disgusting display of greed during the last few panics.

I will not step inside a Dick's or Cheaper Than Dirt. I don't care what they're selling or for what price. I will not buy a Yeti. I'm not big on boycotts, but these turkeys have screwed over gun owners in such a way that I will never need their services again. I can't really say that I boycott Nike or Levis, since I didn't buy their stuff before. S&W and Ruger both had their anti-2A moments, but both have done enough to redeem themselves in my book. They were both deceived into thinking they could avoid the Left's banning of their firearms, but fundamentally private ownership of firearms is not compatible with socialism and the Mini-14 made the same list with ARs and AKs.

In fairness, there are some companies that more than earn my loyalty. Berry's Bullets, for example, went out of their way to make bullets available when the Obama Panic was going on. Magpul shut down sales to businesses that jacked up the prices of their magazines during the same panic.

Asking because I don't know...what has Yeti done to screw gun owners? I know they backed out of a deal with the NRA as did many other companies but did they do anything more overt?

IIRC, they posted 30.06 and 30.07 signs at their HQ. I don't recall anything else. I won't buy Yeti because their stuff is just too damned expensive.

I never wanted to buy a Yeti before their issues with the NRA, far too overpriced. I think the NRA actually overblown the issue, but then I also was more on the NRA's side at that time.

Yeah, a surprisingly number of people join and stay joined to the NRA for the discounts from companies. So when Yeti and others let their agreements lapse, the NRA and many members lost their minds. That the NRA was/is dependent on membership based on these offerings is sort of a sad statement on the tenuousness of membership.

I'm a little surprised to see everyone so against Nike. Am I missing something that they did? Have they done something anti-2A? If this is about the Kaepernick deal - I encourage everyone to read this OpEd written by Eric Reid:

I find this section particularly good (emphasis is mine):

After hours of careful consideration, and even a visit from Nate Boyer, a retired Green Beret and former N.F.L. player, we came to the conclusion that we should kneel, rather than sit, the next day during the anthem as a peaceful protest. We chose to kneel because it’s a respectful gesture. I remember thinking our posture was like a flag flown at half-mast to mark a tragedy.

It baffles me that our protest is still being misconstrued as disrespectful to the country, flag and military personnel. We chose it because it’s exactly the opposite. It has always been my understanding that the brave men and women who fought and died for our country did so to ensure that we could live in a fair and free society, which includes the right to speak out in protest.

In my mind, you can't be against the government violating citizen's rights on a regular basis, AND boycott Nike. It's one or the other.

    I’ve been anti-Nike for years.
Ever since kids were killing one another for a damned pair of Air Jordans.

As well as their sweatshop issues which may or may not still be issues, while virtue-signaling in their advertising and marketing.

No Gillete, Walmart, Nike,Starbucks, Levi's, Dicks, Springfield, RRA, Benchmade. I also try to stay away from companies from California and New York. My list is growing. I'm sure I left some out.

I guess you don't have any Kimbers or Remingtons, nor anything from Dan Wesson, nor early Henry Repeating Arms guns (the current company). I also suppose you never purchase parts from Numrich Gun Parts Corp. (great company by the way). Some good companies there, keeping up the fight for our freedoms in NY while they can although I've heard Remington may be pulling the plug altogether there.

He said he tries to stay away from NY and CA companies. Quit being so butthurt over your former state of residence being called out as a shithole third world dictatorship.

You obviously think it is as well or you would not have left.

Visit their 'campus' in Beaverton, Oregon. I guarantee you they are a bunch of anti-Trump screaming snowflakes. I used to live about a 1/2 mile from there. They are a big part of what is wrong with Portland.

I am surprised no one mentioned ATT. As I seem to recall, they supported the anti-gun cause years ago.

I have boycotted some companies but have to say not all of my boycotts have been permanent as I believe they need not be if the boycotted company makes amends at least somewhat and that only after a bad enough offense to even consider doing it long term and or permanently. Others have been long lasting to permanent.

I have not bought or worn Levis dungarees (while I sometimes use the term, I cannot stand the term 'jeans') since they bugged out to Mexico many years ago - are they anti-RKBA too (if so just another reason). Damn, I stopped wearing dungarees altogether after that and changed over to BDUs and 5.11 Taclite Pro pants.

I boycotted CTD for several years but to me CTD seems to have gotten back on track with pricing so I gave them a second chance (and please do not mention Toomey-Manchin because from what I have seen that was BS about CTD supporting it - as I have mentioned in other threads).

I stopped shopping at SportsmansGuide.com after their customer service lied to me about what it would take for them to legally sell ammo in NY state. They told me they would have to establish a network of FFLs who could accept ammo shipments and thus would not ship ammo to NY because that would take years to establish - this while many other ammo dealers were readily shipping to FFLs in NYS. As for Sportsmansguide, oddly enough, they did and still do ship firearms to folks through FFLs in NY, to the exact same FFLs in NY to whom they could have shipped ammo. Shortly after that, I discovered Target Sports USA who did not even bother with shipping to dealers in NY either, that's because they checked the law. They send ammo directly to buyers there because they know NYS suspended the requirement at least temporarily for all ammo to be shipped through FFLs and require a NICS check (yep NY fucked up there since NICS is not for ammo sales and NY has no system in place to check anyone for ammo sales). I miss shopping at Sportsmansguide but **** them at least for awhile longer.

I shop at Walmart but wish I had a cost effective alternative; living on half of my pension has my funds somewhat tight and Albertson's is way too expensive for me and Cash Saver pretty much sucks (not many good sized decent supermarkets around this berg).

I had given Dick's a second chance but they screwed us again so now I have made it permanent against them. Dick's was a nostalgic loss for me, not because of anything in the last decade or so but because I used to shop at their original family store in Binghamton, NY. It was a great store but after they went national - everything went downhill.

I do not buy from Bud's Gun Shop, an online gun dealer that many of you evidently use and respect; I would not give them a dime because they refused to sell to folks living in Nassau County NY claiming it is part of NYC and refusing to admit they are dead wrong in that regard and being outright arrogantly nasty about it to many folks who tried to let them know they got it wrong. Bud can kiss mine arse for all I care.

I have not shopped at K-Mart in well over a decade, or has it been two, because of their anti-gun shenanigans (are they still in business).
