I hate to be an inveterate skeptic but.....
    Has it occurred to anyone?

AmandaDeeAnn may be a wealthy Ugandan prince just messing with us to pass the time.

Actually I relish being a compulsive skeptic.

    Great Audible course BTW.

That can be complicated. Most metadata viewers only delete data from default locations. You might be surprised at the things that show up in proprietary locations when you read a graphics file with a text editor.

If I ever need to take a picture with zero info in it that can be linked to me, it's going to be pretty low-res because I'll be using a very old camera.

For normal uses and security levels appropriate for everything that happens on this board, that level of paranoia is not justified. Thank goodness.
It will lower the quality a bit, but you can take a screen clipping of a photo image.

    (And open a PayPal account)

Never, EVER do ANY kind of firearm transaction via PP. They WILL freeze your account if you do, and it can be years (literally) before you're able to get your funds. And if the buyer claims they "didn't receive the GUN they bought", they're refund the money to THEM and you're out. It's happened.

Or you could do like thousands of us have for years, and pay using PayPal without mentioning guns, and have no problems.

Take your time. Get all the information you think you're going to need. Ask questions. Be informed before you begin selling any, or all, of any inheritance. Some of what you have may be one-offs and not intended for sale, but as heirlooms. Then, make your sale list, after re-checking it, and post them at that point.

    BTW, Welcome to the fray
