Let's not beat up a rimfire pistol for reliability...22lr platforms can be finicky as many of us know. Give me a threaded barrel and suppressor height sights and I'll run one for fun.

My ruger sr22 and colt/walther 1911 .22lr are very reliable. I dont buy .22lr reliability issues as the norm anymore. There way too many great .22lr pistols out there to settle for less.

I love me some Glocks.. I have 8 of them.
But a 22lr does nothing for me in that platform that a Ruger Mark can't do already.
    Sorry..not for me.

I like Glocks and own ̶a̶ ̶f̶e̶w̶ several of them. I do understand why they went with the 10 round magazines. However, if they had 15, 20 or 30 round magazines available for free states they would have gotten a lot more interest. That said, they'll sell a million of 'em.

Agreed. Why own an unreliable firearm? I simply appreciate that rimfire platforms can be somewhat ammo sensitive, especially as suppressor hosts, so I used the word "finicky".

I don't get it. There are so many, really good, really accurate pistols already out there, like the Ruger Mk IV, I don't understand what they think they're going to gain? It may be that they just want the Glock fan boys to have a .22 to add to their collection of plastic fantastic pew pews.

To me the why is a no-brainer. Cheaper practice. As long as the 22 version weighs and feels exactly the same as the 19. I have a conversion for my 17 that for some reason haven't even tried yet but the slide is steel and from what I can tell is a twin to the 17 in all respects except recoil.

And this is ...I'm looking for the right words....um.......well....just a might bit disappointing. I thought it might actually be something I could, at least, hold some, interest in.
