I'm glad it worked out for you. The flash hider will work out perfectly for a spare barrel I have had laying around forever. Now that I think about it, that was the only thing I needed to complete an upper. Didn't realize that until just now.

    Great. Glad to hear.

Do any of y’all have a recommended business in New Braunfels to buy a stripped lower?

To answer my own question, the friend of mine that was looking for a stripped lower near NB bought one from Huckleberry Firearms Co.

He said he had a good experience. Price was fair and the person he worked with was friendly.

It's not technically in new Braunfels but have you tried lake Mcqueeny gun club. There just down 725. They might have what you are looking for

What is the size needed for a gas block roll pin? 5/64x3/8?

They do sell stripped lowers. But, if you're not in a rush, I've found that buying a couple online then having Freddies on Seguine handle the transfer.

Freddies charges $20 for up to 4 SNs, so online parts become pretty economical (IMHO) even with shipping and the transfer fee. They typically call me within an hour or so of the package getting there to let me know I can come and get my toys. Come to think of it, I thought I saw some stripped lowers at the pawn shop.

Does anyone know where I can find a regular carbine buffer in San Antonio? Already tried HCBR & they have some on order, but I need one by this weekend.
    Thanks

Placing this here because I’m not selling it. Hope it’s okay.

If you need an end plate to finish a build, let me know. I have a bunch. Free if you can come get it.

Update: Same thing for trigger guards.
