Been modding the hell out of GTA V. Their recent update seems to have screwed something up though, and I keep getting constant game crashes. I've got to go back through everything I had installed and try to figure out what the issue is.

Also just got Doom (2016), and am loving it. It's intense. :D

I've been playing that off and on for the past couple of years and I agree. They captured the feel of the older versions well and added their own twist.

When I have time these days, I'm mainly playing Red Dead Redemption 2 but I have very little time for gaming lately.

To echo @deemus a few months back, I miss the original Team Fortress. That was one of the first games I was hooked on.

Then there was Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft II.... man Blizzard knows how to make a game.

Aw damn. Now you've got me wondering. I'm only on Act 2 myself so I haven't made it very far. I've spent most of my time hunting and fishing for the legendary animals.

Is it something political? I've noticed some modern day political jabs in the dialogue and town newspapers.

I won’t throw out any spoilers, but that one pissed me off and I stopped playing.

The ending? Or rather the ending as far as the main character is concerned?

I felt the same about the ending of Far Cry 5. Currently replaying FC3, trying to get to 100%

American Truck Simulator has been surprisingly fun. You wouldn't think that a truck driving sim could really offer much, but it's strangely addictive. I kind of want to get a wheel controller and a shiftier to make it more immersive.

They did a DAMN fine job designing the states. I've been to some of these states, and they're spot on from what I've seen. There's New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, and Washington right now. Utah is coming later in the year. I think the devs want to release all 50 states and possible Mexico and Canada. I'm hoping Texas is the next DLC to be released, but it's such a big state that it might be awhile before they actually finish it. I think Idaho (most likely) or Colorado is probably going to be next. The scale of this game is massive. It will literally take a few hours to get from New Mexico to Washington.

I added a few mods to get real logos, and some more trucks.
