When did guys start attacking females in public without the nearest male bystander 'intervening"? Have we lost all semblance of civility? Which came first?
I went to Popeye's today and got a spicy chicken sandwich as well as a small order of voodoo tenders. Both were VERY good. I mean the spicy sandwich is good, but not body slam someone good. I was armed.
This location does limit the number of chicken sandwiches each person can order. No more than five of any combination of regular or spicy.
I can see the dismay engendered if someone is sent out or volunteers to buy a group lunch and being told sorry, we be rationing...might make for some 'never darken that place's door again' customers.
The lady ended up talking the cashier into letting her get six. It was a quiet conversation so as not to start a riot.
I literally laughed out loud to your "sorry, we be rationing"
I feel like if people want to buy 20 chicken sandwiches or more, they should have the right to do so. More money for the business selling the sandwich. Stock up to meet the demand.
Me, I won't darken the door step of a place that apparently has some food voodoo going on that mesmerizes our ahem, lower socio economically disordered...
Those must be some magically enhanced sandwiches...
It was a tasty sandwich. Probably not worth the line I stood in, but it was lunch time. The voodoo tenders have some sweet and spicy chili sauce on them. Good also. Not the establishment's fault some of their customers and some of their employees cannot control themselves.
I'm about to toddle off to bed, but my curiosity about this weird phenomenon compels me to ask: Approximately how long was your wait and was the food lust of your competing fellow restaurant goers creating some sort of mad herd tension?
It was really calm. There were a couple of people joking around about the people going crazy over these sandwiches. Definitely a mixture of ethnicities in line with me. It was lunchtime and I would say I was in line for 20 minutes. I think the line inside and in the drive thru was just because it was lunchtime around 12:30. I was on my way back to the office after running an errand, so it was not a big deal for me to stop in.
