I buy these when the blems are on sale. These are made to shoot not look good in the safe. Cheaper and function just fine. Started with Anderson with no issues. Lately been finding a lot of Aero Precision around both online and privately. Pretty easy to scrounge parts up pretty cheaply too, especially if you aren't too picky. I get a lot of stuff from others upgrading to the "good stuff". Take off parts are pretty cheap. Veterans day I got a free barrel. Had a lower and some other parts around. Bought a private sale upper and BCG. Probably had less than $200 in that rifle. Shot just fine and passed it on to my brother.

    To All,

Fwiw, I was saddened to learn that RUNNER, RUNNER GUNS of McKinney, TX has gone out of business.
I really liked their LONE STAR & TEXAS FLAG lower receivers.
(The last BIG San Antonio Gun Show, one of the owners offered me their "planned" ALAMO COMMERATIVE lower that he said that they would "serial number" it with the date of LTC Travis' famous letter for me, as soon as the lower could be made.)
"Best laid plans of mice & men" & all that.

    yours, satx
