Love the P47. Had a Top Flite Razorback and lost it.
Gotta pick up a 4000-5000mah 6S battery next week. It’s gonna be pulling around 90amps based on the flight times people are getting. Should be close to 2000watts of power.

Just got back from the field, perfect weather today.
Flew my F-15, Extra 300, and Vista Glider. Buddy boxed my son on the apprentice. He did pretty good with auto leveling so I turned him loose with only bank angle limits. Still wasn’t bad but he got stressed after he thought he was loosing it and took a break. No way he would have crashed though, I had him on a buddy box the whole time.
Much better than yesterday. Forgot half the stuff I needed and nearly lost my favorite plane but got away with a broken prop and spinner, then flew another one that went perfect but noses over after the flight while taxiing and busted the prop.

Close call when landing?
Yep. Would have been beautiful if he’d done it about a foot off the deck. Couldn’t hear it, but I’ve had wind gusts cause similar results when landing. Usually not as bad with bigger/heavier planes though.
IME, a greased landing is the hardest part of flying.
