Okay, this isn’t a joke but a true story and a funny one at that. Or at least the one the old timers told me.

My folks moved to Texas in 2004. They landed on Lake Texoma, north of Gordonville.

On a tour of the lake in 2006, an old timer showed me Chuck Norris’ old house, on the lake. Supposedly he had all the trees clear cut from his house down to the water. The Corps of Engineers had him fined for removing the trees. Per what I was told, only trees with a diameter of less than 3” could be removed. After being fined and having to replant all the trees, he then proceeded to remove all the trees less than 3” in diameter. The property they showed me, was still clear cut all the way down to the water. Chuck Norris for the win!
