Today, I closed my for sale thread: https://www.texasguntalk.com/thread...ii-knife-ftf-texarkana-area-or-shipped.93758/
I did not sell the item, nor did I indicate in any way shape or manner that it had been sold. Yet, when I clicked on the Close Thread icon, it automatically showed it as sold. I closed it because I am moving the sale to GunBroker. Did I miss something, was there another way to close the thread where it would not have automatically come up with the item showing as sold? If not, why not have a Sold icon, that will show an item as sold only when an item is actually sold or traded and use the Close Thread icon that then shows the thread as Closed instead of as Sold? If a seller were to decide to try to relist an item in the for sale forums, that was marked as Sold by your system when the thread was merely closed, potential buyers of the relisted item might think it had been bought earlier and then sent back to the seller by the supposed (but in actuality nonexistent) first buyer on this site and may draw the conclusion there was something wrong with it thus making it more difficult to sell as relisted item.
All the best,
Glenn B
