I say exclude anywhere if you're under the influence of alcohol. Jails, etc, too.Constitutional Carry with current 06/07 restrictions and prohibited places. LTC gets to carry in current prohibited places with few exclusions (jails and bars if consuming alcohol). 06/07 still apply but must leave or fine just as it is now. Everywhere else is fair game. Or just make LTC carry match off duty LEO carry.
The bulk of "work" is always done outside the session. The session itself is mostly parliamentary procedure. How is there work being done on that when the legislature is not in session?
The judges are scared!!Why should people be prohibited from carrying in a courthouse?
IMO 46.02 and 03 should not apply to LTC holders, and we should repeal 46.035

Friend/relative gets the death penalty as an accomplice to murder... How many friend/relatives are gonna jump on that?No courtroom carry makes sense to me. How about a judge that is going to sentence a guy to life in prison or the death penalty and a friend/relative passes or throws a gun to him. Or a ltc has his gun taken by a friend/relative. Then you have a guy with a gun with NOTHING to lose. Bad juju all the way around. Most bailiffs I have seen couldn't hit a courtroom standing inside it. Now you have incompetent vs nothing to lose and a lot of victims looking for a place to hide. Including the judge.

As opposed to waiting in the parking lot for the judge. Waiting at the judges house...
How about no open carry in the court room. Then what’s the chances of your argument? Slim to none.
Don’t overthink this. Any risk in the courtroom is potentially the same out of the courtroom
roadkill is right. The risk of judging is the same no matter the punishment or location to retaliate. You are way over thinking this. Even in the "wild, wild west" when the death penalty was in much wider use, this was statically not a large problem. You are missing one fact. The shooter is the guy that will never get out of prison. How is HE going to the judges house or anywhere else?
