What did you do today in the world of reloading?

I walked out into the garage and stared at my press, looked at my bottles of powder, glanced over at the container filled with tumbled and cleaned brass, thought about the temperature being approximately 95*, and said to myself, "f*#k this, it's way too hot to be doing this", and went back in the house and had a beer, an ice cold, refreshing 805 lager.

I've been doing this regularly for the last month. Except unpacking reloading stuff for about 5 minutes before I throw in the towel. And in this hear it's been grapefruit shandy.

I did get my 243 and 7-08 stuff ready to go but can't for the life of me find my load data for either. Gonna figure up a new load tonight and get ready to start loading those 2 again.

I loaded up 800 rounds of 9mm. 500 of one load and 300 of another.

My goal was 1000 rounds of 9mm and some .45 ACP but one of the neighbors stopped by and I lost some time there.

I went out and cranked out 500 rounds of .45 ACP.

It's a light target load. RCBS 201-KT bullet, 3.8 gr IMR Red.

Last night I got everything setup for 243. I made 4 rounds before I decided it was too damn hot and went back inside. Maybe more tonight.

How does the 223ai stack up against normal 223?

I was looking at making my 7-08 into an ai but from what I read it doesn't do much for that particular caliber.

I can run a 22" barrel and get 26" straight 223 velocities. My current load with the 22" is an 80gr eld at 2970.

I actually have a 7mm-08ai as well. It achieved basically the same or similar results. It was a little more dependent on powder choice because a powder that gave great velocity in standard 08 may not give more in ai form. Throat length and bullet choice can make it shine or fail as well.

I've been trying to transfer powder from the hopper to cases with bullets to clean things up.

Future plan is to pick up one of the New MidSouth LNL powder hopper assemblies!

I couldn't figure out what you were talking about. You mean a new powder measure. The thing with the Hornady PM is you can buy the inserts. No need to have one for each cartridge. Just buy the inserts.

It’s a midsouth exclusive. I think it would be like the Dillon powder measure setups from what I remember of my two buddies that have 650s.

There's nothing there you can't get anywhere else. It's simply a Hornady AP powder measure with the case activator.

You can get the same stuff from Graf's for about $25 cheaper.
