So I think I'm done for now unless anyone here sees something glaring I didn't do or left out.

My goal was to keep it fairly simple but very functional for taking the bike over a long distance and camping out in it. Now I don't need to worry so much about bad weather.
Build a bed/seating platform that'll fold up against the wall so that you don't have to sleep on the floor.

Plumbed in my air system. 100% duty cycle compressor. Should be able to handle my 37’s.

    Nice
The only bad thing is that 37’s take a loooong time to air up.

My previous diesel pickup had 35’s, and I aired-down to 18 psi for off-roading in the southwest deserts.

It took quite a while to air them back up with my onboard air. Even back at camp, with a 7 gallon compressor, it took time.

Wife got home the other day and said, "My car smells weird and it felt odd when I braked." I grabbed the infrared thermometer and sure enough the front passenger side caliper was 350° hotter than the other three.

After everything cooled off I pulled the wheel and it all looked fine. The caliper bolts came off easily and they looked to be in good shape, but the caliper was stuck to the bracket. Had to beat it off with a mallet

Visually everything looked fine and the piston was still moving freely, so I just cleaned everything, lubed all the sliding points, and reassembled. Been working fine for the past few days.

Removed the roof rack and the awning from the war wagon so I could bring it in the garage for a mild detail. It needs a proper clay bar, polish (to minimize my trail pinstripes), and wax/sealant treatment but this will have to do for now. She still cleans up fairly well for a 19 year old 4x4 with 220,000 miles on the odometer.

Is this a 4runner? I’d actually love to have something exactly like this as a second or fifth car but old toyota 4x4’s reeeaaally hold their value well.

Coulda been worse, if the Highlander and Infiniti weren’t between that ram and me, I’d probably be pretty fucked up or dead.

Dropped my car off at a friendly body shop up near my work with perfect reviews across multiple platforms. I trust them to do a good job. And as minimal as the damage is on the surface level, I’d rather have no more unnecessary blemishes on my car other than the rock chips on the front.

It's a 2000 4Runner 4x4 SR5 (3rd gen). I'd love to upgrade to a 5th gen, but my car note money is being stashed away for a 36-40 Ford coupe and theres nothing wrong with the war wagon other than leaking valve cover gaskets (common to this platform, I'm not worried about it).

My friend has a 5th gen. They’re cool and all, but I’d rather have a 3rd gen, or one from around then. I just like older Toyota’s better.

Found my passenger door wasn't locking by accident yesterday, no idea how long it's been this way. Of course I found out 18 days out of warranty :) I suppose I could have tried my luck seeing if I could get the dealer to cover it, the part was $135 and it took less time to do the job myself than it would have taken to have them do it ... So, long story short, my door locks like it should again.
