I've heard them all too, it's why I rarely post their deals, but as you can see in replies here, other's have had no problems. While I don't completely discount all the bad reviews, I'm seeing better reviews and less of the bad ones these days. You also have to take into account that most people who have had an smooth transaction with them tend not to say anything about them leaving only the rants to trend at the top of the list.

Wait, I found the ad. Not my cup o' tea.

If anybody finds a good buy on one of their Fortner sporters, short threaded bbl, in .22LR, I'll likely be a little poorer, though. The reason I don't have one is that I can't justify the $3800 for a new one and Champions Choice has been out of stock forever, anyway.
